How did you feel when Ellie chopped David into pieces?
I had a good feeling while watching that scene though I kinda hoped that ND had showed us the chopped David.
I thought it was pretty violent, a 14 year old girl doing something like that to a grown up man? Just crazy.
But it didn't affect me as much nor was it as remarkable as when...
I thought the title read "How did you feel Ellie chopped David into pie?" Poetic justice for the win. Honestly it made me feel really bad. Ellie's just a kid, all these really awful things happened to her,
to cap it off she has to machete someone to death. Full agreement, it was a pivotal scene.
Well I thought it was not justified and I thought it was crazy but it made sense and I think it was good that they had it, I don't know what is wrong with you guys saying stuff like (I was happy) seriously? What is wrong with you people.

When she finally killed David, I was just sitting there in awe. I was happy the ordeal was over, but at the same time I could see how it affected her.
As tragic as it was, seeing Ellie go through something so traumatic, it opened up for the most beautiful moment in the story (at least imo.) Joel appeared at the moment she needed him the most and he finally embraced her as his daughter. Their reunion at the end of Winter always gets me.
