JA Griffith: you sit, get a cookie and a kudos for your post. NCFOM is a VERY good movie. If TLOU had Its intensity I would love it. They said TLOU was inspired by NCFOM, they didn't say it as based on it. Anything from the writing to the cinematography could have inspired Naughty Dog.

The Last Of Us' Joel was inspired by 'No Country for Old Men' character Lewellen Moss.  Near identical accent, tone and commentary.  Noticed it right off the bat.

 

#1 No Country for Old Men

#2 I am Legend

 

At the same time though, how does one create an awesome, never die, badass fighting infinite, that we can sympothize with, without it being inspired by NCFOM?
