I'm liking how you got lost, though that might have been a bit stressful since there was a time limit, I really enjoy being able to take my time with games - so I think that's great news for the wide linear maps we've been hearing about.
So wait, there's a timer? I hope not. I always hated playing games like that, unless it makes sense in the specific scenario. I loved Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu for the PS2, but hated how EVERY mission was timer based. That got very annoying, very quickly. If it's something in The Last of Us, like, there's a timer to get to a bridge before it closes completely, then I could see it. But again, please no.
