Should I get I Am Alive to warm up for TLOU?

15 replies 345 views Edited Mar 12, 2013

I've seen reviews and stuff, but what I want to know is all of your opinions of the game and whether I should play it to kind of get that Survival blood running again. So, should I buy it? It's on sale for $7.34 on PSN.

Save your money man. If anything play The Walking Dead.

Yep, Telltale's The Walking Dead is great. Great story with top-notch voice acting. The relationship between Lee and Clem is an indication of what to expect between Joel and Ellie ( though Ellie is older and more capable than Clem)

I liked I Am Alive. Now that's a game where ammo is rare!

I don't want anything really with a story. I just want good survival gameplay. That's it.

Then get IAA. There will be alot of times on whether you will use your last bullet on an enemy or save it for an area that's padlocked to earn health and food. There will be people you will encounter to need help in finding supplies and you can help if you want.
