I loved BioShock: Infinite. It's the game to beat this year. Great characters, great setting and wonderful art direction. However, the core gameplay lacked variety as you had to enter every encounter guns-blazing. Also, the story became a little muddled towards the end. So, a brilliant game, but one that had a few flaws. I really hope TLOU can top it.
Agree with what most of you have said however I do have a feeling of fright regarding something.
Is it just me or did the E3 gameplay look far more ..polished? What we've seen out of the infected gameplay, PAX etc.. The game just doesn't quiiite hold up to that first reveal and the E3 video.
While I understand that the game is very long, wide-linear and has a large focus on AI => I think the overall "graphical fidelity" has taken a hit. This wouldn't concern me had it not been for ND being so known for their amazing visuals with the Uncharted series.
I really wish we could fast forward 60 days so I could get my hands on the GoWA TLOU Demo. I feel like THAT is when we'll know for sure if this game will indeed be the special thing we hope it to be, or not.
