In my opinion and while I was sceptical at first, TLOU does indeed trump Uncharted 3 and God of War Ascension for the best graphics on the console to date. I will update this with more captures but for now, I'll keep it a bit spoiler free and just post some stuff that won't give away any heavy spoilers.
Do expect insane shots later on however.. believe me.

Absolutely phenomenal. These guys will most definitely kick **bleep** on the PS4.

Update #2 =>
( Certain are stretched out even further thus making it look even worse but yet beautiful for usage of desktop backgrounds on PCs )

Finally, I was waiting for this. But it sucks that almost all games on consoles have faked-up textures, no tesselation at all. Anyway, I was impressed with the lighting and character models in this game.

While the visual quality was very good (foliage, environment-based lightning), I think the concept was what really put this game above the others. The ying-yang between the familiar and the foreign, civilization and nature, was a really neat thing to see.

NaughtyDog not only can make pretty textures, but lighting, scenery everything whoever their artist is should get the credit, it's not about JUST the texturing, it's also about how that item looks in general, the color, the small details. It's amazing.
Hell not many PC games look this good. I can't think of a single one actually. The one and ONLY thing that was more beautiful in a video game (imo) is the HD texture pack on Skyrim. But that isn't vanilla, it's community made. So I won't really count that.
