Not TLoU anyway, it had sold over a million copies two days after the release.
It actually sold 3.2 million in the first three days. I'd say they did pretty well. $192,000,000. Neil, Bruce, Troy and Ashley are rollin' in it right now.
Is the 1.3 million sold that I keep on seeing for its first week only include the dvd's sold in stores and not the downloaded sales that they had? When do they start putting all those sales together into one group and counting them up.
For comparison, all of Rockstar's current gen games have cost them at least 100 million to make, including Max Payne 3, so I doubt that TLOU costs anywhere near 100 million
Thats exactly what I mean. People here think TLOU cost 100 million but its a linear game and Rockstar's games are open world so of course TLOU won't even be close to 100 million
They also have the best of the best when it comes to animation, level design and programming. Those guys are making good money.
I think TLoU costed like 50 million $$$, with all mo-cap cinematics, etc etc.
I have acquired the grade of Master in The Last of Us story/character/game knowledge as I have played it through 9 times.
