I know there are flaws, but how many times have we told YOU, EYECUE, if you really are all that smart, that the devs decided to make the game the way it is for reasons their own. Yes the AI breaks immersion, yes they walk right out into the open and enemies, but #dealwithit. It's their design choice to make the game not a big escort mission. Why don't you go tweet Neil and complain directly to him and see if he cares.

Yeah, well there design choice sucks. It's also incredibly lazy. All I am asking for here, is that they should have made the friendly AI hide better than they do in the game. The game already is an escort mission. You have to take Ellie from Boston to Utah where the Fireflies are. It's part of the story. Take Ellie from point A to point B. Ellie can die, along the way, then you start over. Granted, it's not a badly made escort mission that becomes annoying. I stand by my belief that ND should have made the friendly AI hide.

I don't have a twitter, so I can ask Neil. It's not like he would answer me anyway since I doubt he would want to advertise a flaw in his game.

While I understand what you're asking, as well as everyone else, complaining in every single thread won't help. Most people find it trolling and very annoying. I'm certain ND is well aware of the amount of glitches, complaints, and bugs in the game, but not everyone has them(I don't, haven't had one) and will fix it, but they need a break too. They're people who have lives and families outside of the studio and need to take a breather. When they come back, I'm sure they will attempt to fix them, and I use that term loosely because some of the issue might not be able to get fixed.

Well, it's not like I'm nitpicking like that guy who wanted better water because it flowed through a rock. They should have just delayed the game again to polish it since it's clear that they still had a lot of little things to work on, judging by the amount of complaints in Zod5000's "bugs n' glitches" thread. I'd rather a length delay, over recieving a glitchy game anyway. I'm just glad I didn't pay for this thing.

That's not an excuse. Would you allow a restaurant to serve you 3/4ths of your meal and get the rest at a later undisclosed date, just because the people who work at the restaurant have lives and a family?

while I do agree that some minor changes would make the difference on this game I have to differ on the matter of delaying the game. A lot of people don't know but games too have a budget and the devs almost always have to ask for more to finish in time. The amount of money that would be required to delay a game once is already high and dangerous, doing that twice is just insane. Games have been cancelled for delaying. An example is "I am alive" it was delayed a few times and had to be cancelled. And it only came out many years later and it's half a game.

Well then they should have delayed it for more than 5 weeks. Look at Rockstar. They delayed GTA5 from I think the week after TLOU (early May) was originally supposed to come out all the way to September in order to ensure that the game was ready. It seems like they wouldn't delay the game that long over pride to me, this being their first delayed game and all, and would rather they meet their deadline and fix any issues after the fact.

Yeah but we have to remember how big GTA5 will and that rockstar is much bigger than naughtydog. Most of the GTA games were made by more than just one rockstar studio, normaly the US' and canada's. They have the money to wait and the fame. If you ask around you'll see that more people know GTA5 than The last of us (sadly in my op) so they have the guaranty that their game will be a huge success in every platform regardless.
