The test will be how well does the game hold up ten or so years from now. For example: when I played ICO when it first came out it was my favorite game ever. But replaying it so many years since then, I find it did not maintain its majesty.
I've got a strong hunch that TLOU will be one of those games that people will still be talking about fondly in 10 (perhaps even 20) years from now.
As for my score? I gave it a 9 when I completed it and I still give it a 9 now. In my opinion very few games really deserve a perfect 10, but I guess thats a different discussion.
It does have a brilliant MP that keeps me playing even more time.
I wonder if I'll reach the same amount of playthrough that I have done in RE4, which as over 100 playthroughs, and well over 1000 hours put into it.
