What kind of antialiasing does TLoU use ?

Just a quick question, if anyone knows. I ask because UC2 seemed to have better AA than UC3, and I'm wondering if TLoU is using whatever method they used in UC2 or 3.

Anti Aliasing isn't a computer game term, it's a technology term for smoothing the jagged objects of a graphical object.

Out of curiosity about your curiosity, why do you want to know? If it looks good, it looks good. Also, do they ever release that  information? I never look into it, so I wouldn't know exactly but I've never seen details like this on console games of this generation.

Looks like MLAA. Same as GOW3, KZ3 and GOW:A.

U3´s COD syndrom fixlist: Nerf Gmal damage&scope INSTEAD OF RECOIL, Remove all ROF & Quickboom, Remove grenade throwback and replace it with a Slot 2 booster, Move Bargain to Slot 1, Nerf the enterly OP hipfire, INSTEAD OF DESTROYNG UNCHACHARTEDS FLUIDITY!
Nerf the sprint to 2sec/recovery to 5sec, Nerf T-Bolt KB to 12 medals,
NO stopping power effect while ADS, make FF usefull again (pain wobble is ENOUGH!), FIX delay on grenade throw, FIX shooting delay while hanging, FIX the cover system, its inferiour than in U2, FIX the Pull-down camera(U2>U3), FIX map rotation, FIX the reticles on ALL weapons( U2>U3), FIX overall weapon handling(U2>U3), FIX U3 lame COD corridor/hotspot map design(U2>U3), Add an only-party playlist for partys above 2 players OR Change U2 back to the original 1.04 setting.

MLAA is a huge performance hog, I'm sure I read somewhere they used FXAA as they did with Uncharted 3.

Nope, it's not MLAA.

 

UC2 used MSAA. UC3 probably used a custom MLAA solution. TLOU? Nobody knows.

It surely looks good in the demo. I could use a high sharpness without seeing annoying edges, even though the game runs in 720.

I didn't notice any annoying jaggies in the demo, the game looks stunning.

I was insanely sceptical at first. I felt UC3 and God of War Ascension looked better.

4 hours in and I was wrong. DEAD wrong. TLOU is insanely beautiful and by far the most impressive game I have seen. The whole game feels large too and it really hides its linear nature. It also has insane sound and atmosphere.
