What's the best audio Settings for The Last Of Us?

4 replies 1998 views Edited Jun 24, 2013

Okay, I have the Playstation Wireless Stereo Headset and I was checking the audio settings, but I really don't know which one sounds better, which one is the ideal setting... They have the  'format' which has; Stereo Headphones, Dolby Pro Logic II, and Dolby Digital 5.1. Another one is' Dynamic Range' which has; Default, Maximum,  Wide, Normal, Narrow and Midnight, what should I choose so it sounds best with my Headphones/headset?

I'm not convinced the stereo headset option takes advantage of the Sonys virtual 7.1.

I now use Dolby digital 7.1 with my Sony pulse. Dynamic range normal.

I find that when you enable virtual surround sound on the headset, the sound quality becomes bad. Compared to normal mode, anyways. And I don't even notice a surround sound effect, since the headset only has two speakers (stereo) anyways.

So, what you should choose depends on what mode your headset is set to. If virtual surround sound is enabled on the headset, choose the surround sound option from the menu in-game. Do the same for stereo.
