Beat it 5 times and now on the University, so I guess a bit over 5 and a half times. One of the playthroughs was with a few friends at their house so I didn't actually play through it entirely myself. I wasn't planning on playing through it again so soon after beating it but I felt like playing it again. Plus, I needed to fully upgrade all weapons to get the platinum trophy.
I guess I am starting to lose desire to play it, but the great thing about this game is that that feeling doesn't last very long. I'm actually surprised that after beating the game 5 times I still have a desire to play it again.
Indeed... every time I've completed the game I've been like "Ah.. should I play it again? Should I?" then it just results in me playing the game through again.
I have acquired the grade of Master in The Last of Us story/character/game knowledge as I have played it through 9 times.
... I have no life.
I've completed 4 playthroughs (Hard, Hard +, Survivor, Survivor +) and there are chapters (Bill's Town and Lakeside Resort) that I have played too many times to count.
5 for me. Started on Hard, went to Survivor, then Survivor Plus. The last two plays were on Easy Plus to finish off the Platinum Trophy and it was too much fun. It's quite satisfying destroying everything after playing through the difficult ones.
I've probably played enough through the chapter select too to count towards another completion had I played through sequentially.
Gonna definitely do it again once the single player campaign DLC comes out. The campaign is a lot of fun, keeping my fingers crossed for sequels.
