As D said before. It depends if I'm with people or not.
With people I'd feel obligated to help them.
If I was by myself I'm sure I'd stand a better chance.
But, for sure I'm stopping by Nike or Psilo's house for some merchandise.
I'm sure I could live for a year or so a most. Then die to some injury ala infection.
I think I could hold up at my house. We have plenty of guns, and I have a friend that has a TON of guns. You could name any gun (not a RPG or anything) and he's probably got it. He goes by the nickname of Scooter. All of you forumers would be welcome to stay.
I most probably come round and raid your stash and live you for dead.
I live in a country that has been through quite a few wars, on our "turf" and on other people's lands so I believe we would manage quite nicely in the beginning.
Now I doubt I would personally be up for the task in my current physical condition, I mean I have descent gun skills from shooting ranges, know my way around a baseball bat and a knife and might be able to beat someone to death given the circumstances but to fight a clicker and not get bitten ? **bleep** no. And plus - when it comes to running I'm not the fastest individual in the world.
I would die. I'd barricade myself in a bar. Why a bar? Because you have a lot of alcohol, which can be used to heal you, and make molotols. But eventually I would get overwhelmed and eaten or something.
"I heard someone got executed today" "Really, what for?" "Uniform violation I **** you not."
Personally though, I live in the south. In other words, I live around a bunch of rednecks who have arsenals of guns: shotguns, rifles, pistols, semi-auto assault rifles - and every teenager down here has extensive knowledge on how to build a bomb.
I'd be in good hands, and to put it simply, I think I'd have a decent chance of survival. Very good chance.
