I'm getting rely tired of people complaining about the AI.
Get used to it. It's moronic. They obviously didn't programmer the companions to be clever, so they programmed the enemy to be dumb as **** as a way out.
But just imagine how frustrating it would be if the enemy AI can detect the friendly AI. You know an AI is an AI, an AI is flawed, they make mistakes. So if that happened are you gonna complain about it too?
And ask yourself this question, why should you be punished just because the AI made a mistake?
At the moment it would be bad if they reacted to friendly AI.
Have you seen the friendly AI fight? They don't do anything... The bullets are just there to look pretty.
Friendly AI in this game is far too poor to have this in it at the moment.
they helped me plenty. Although not taking on everyone by themselves, they did manage to take down a guy here and there. I laughed and was in shock when Ellie jumped on a guy before I could and went to town in his neck with her switchblade.
Sometimes when I was low on supplies, I would literally stand behind the others and let them soften up enemies and take a few out before I acted if it went down to that.
Was that easy or normal?
I tried hard first and basically did everything myself. Not that I actually had an option.
I played on Hard and they supplied me and killed a few.
Heh. The only time I actually received help was near the start of the game. But that was a cutscene anyway.
The amount of times Tess or Ellie have stood in my way and actually got me killed severely outweigh how many shots they fired at enemies for me.
It felt like escorting an excitable dog that's always jumping up all over you and in your face.
yea Tess wasn't that great. I found that Bill and Henry killed more than she did. So did David, but I guess he kinda had to considering the part of that game...
David didn't do much either for me..
The only thing I saw him kill was the dude on the table, a cutscene.
Forced me to fend off hordes of infected on my own in a little tiny room.
