"We're definately looking at more than 12 hours...

At 3:02,

"Maybe 12 to 16 right now is what we're looking at.  It really depends on how you play.  You can play a little bit slower if you try to approach situations stealthy, if you really want to explore the environment and scavange, that's going to add more time to you.  So we're really giving you a flexability on how much ( ? ) you can explore."

Well, TLoU will be a little longer than UC3 though I'd be remiss if I didn't say I'm a little disappointed.  I was hoping for a longer game, much longer actually but it is a linear game so I can understand.

I wonder if anyone has ever come up with a website that lists average game lengths?  That would give us something to compare TLoU with.

Sorry If this has already been posted.

12-16 hours seems good to me, Seeing as I beat UC3 in 7 hours on my first try. It seems like a good amount.

Joel: That's alright. I believe him.

Nice find. 12-16 hours sounds perfect to me- this is a highly story-driven game, and if it was any longer it'd probably begin to drag and lose focus. Anyone who was expecting a 25+ hour experience needs a reality check Smiley Wink

I don't play many video games myself, so when I do find one I like, games like Fallout 3, RDR, Farcry 2, Uncharted, etc, I like to spend some time with them.  I realize F3, RDR and FC2 are all open world games.

Again, I'm curious as to whether their is a place where we can get average game lengths?

Just when I thought they will never screw anything up with this game, they confirmed that there will only be multi-player DLCs. **bleep**? Even games like Gears Of War has single-player DLCs.

And what is, this "good" reason?

Don't quote me on this but I think they said they wouldn't do single player dlc because it would take to long to get it up to the standard game quality with mo cap and stuff
