Yes and yes. Smiley Wink

There are a lot of reasons why it is a great game. I would go on YouTube / twitch / magazines and watch some reviews and gameplay footage there. But try not to be spoiled! If you like what you see, and if it is the kind of game you like, go for it.

It is a fantastic story, great characters, flawless gameplay mechanics with great graphics.

The multiplayer is fun and easy to grasp (I suck at online games, but I'm pretty good on TLOU).

As for single player, it's a fun, narrative-driven video game with amazing characters, relationships, and story.  It's very cinematic, so don't expect it to be like other games you've played.
It's really just something you gotta experience to know if you like it or not.

I know someone who loves survival games like this, but they disliked TLOU because it was so story-based.  He expected it to be "omg run'n'gun kill zombies shotgun over the top!" which it's not.

But yeah, try it and you might like it.

if I remember right they were both at a military boarding school so I'm sure they both know something about weapons

they got infected at the same time and decided to just go crazy together. since ellie didn't go crazy. she may have had to kill riley since riley may have attacked her. Sam had turned overnight so a similar thing may have happened with Riley

If you planed to buy it digitally it's on sale at the moment, for about 2 days, thanks to the whole 12 offers of xmas Sony did.

Only checked the European price, which is 29.99€, but seems there's an offer with the season pass as well for  37.49€.
