9MM vs Revolver

What's your FREE small firearm of choice and why?

I mostly use the revolver on loadout kits with no large firearms due to its damage and balanced stats but I may switch to 9MM. Reason why I might change to it is because while it may not have the damage like Revolver, anyone not using Sharpshooter perk will experience constant pain wobbles due to the rate of fire 9MM has.

I've tried both for a pistol only loadout, and have had consistently better results with the revolver.

I never tried the 9mm. The revolver gets the job done for me.

Definitely the revolver if that's my only primary weapon (not including purchasables) The 9mm is good for suppression. As you said it's really hard to get a bead on someone when you're being pelted with small rounds. But for actually putting someone down it just doesn't do the job very well, especially if you need to do it in a hurry.

The other thing is if you want to use the 9mm effectively (especially against armor) you really have to spend a lot of your points toward upgrades and buying ammo for it, otherwise you'll constantly finding yourself needing to reload or just plain run out of bullets.  The revolver works just fine out of the box and just gets better and better.

9MM = 92FS

Revolver = Deagle.

No contest.

i hate the way handguns feel on this game, shooting mechanics are slow and clunky, not for me and its my friends who are are big shooter vets who also agree and said the same things i did, and they are really good at shooters too. this game didnt take off with any of us last night, not our thing, just saying... i wish it was

In fairness, slow and clunky is the entire multiplayer really. Uncharted type guns wouldnt fit the stealthy aspect.

I'm pretty sure they made this feel on purpose. Because you aren't playing as trained marksman and whatnot. And the game is supposed to be slower-paced in the first place. Besides I felt no difference with aiming, you point and shoot + there is pain/scope wobble to add to the needed accuracy of the weapon.

All stats aside the sound of the silenced 9mm is amazing.
