A guide to reviving.

Firstly, thank you for being so awesome. Without the people who are always kind enough to revive in a tight spot, the team would fall apart. We salute you, brethren!

So here's the situation - your Downed team mate is caught out in the open, and an enemy has him in his sights. You should...

Step 1. Shoot at the enemy so that they have to retreat a bit (AKA covering fire). You could also throw a nail bomb or Molotov to kill them, or at least keep them distracted. This will allow your Downed teammate to crawl to safety.

Step 2. Once your teammate has almost reached the cover, move over and give them space to get in.

Step 3. Quickly check that the enemy is not making his way over or preparing to throw a nail bomb or Molotov. If the coast is clear, Revive that guy! Hold triangle next to your teammate until they're on their feet.

So there it is! Just remember - To keep them alive, cover them while they try to hide, move aside, then revive!

Took on the medic role today (mainly for parts), it's amazing how many people crawl the wrong way though.

Fred said it best. This game is all about dat teamwork. While I'm not the perfect Reviver, I do try to revive if I feel its safe enough. I also have the revival perk that helps you revive people faster on all my classes. I wish I had more loadout points so I could use First Aid Training 2, which I recently unlocked. Sometimes, the feeling of being the glue that holds the team together is better than anything else.

Thank you guys, thank you.  First, I'd like to thank my mom for birthing me with these playstation controller gripping hands.  Second, I'd like to thank the my roommate for the hookah that keeps me company while healing people.  Third, I'd like to thank Jesus err..my three hispanic friends for joining my party and helping me dominate the game.

Yeah this is another point.

Revivers of greatness, if your Downed teammate is in an open space with enemies in the area, don't feel the need to run out and Revive them. You're only going to get yourself and your teammate Executed. One death on your team is better than two, right?

Only Revive when you're both safely behind cover or you know there's no immediate danger.

Remember folks - Make room for them behind cover so you can revive that mother!
