Am I the only one around here that isn't getting GTA V/ that thinks the hype around it is so overrated.

I'm not getting it and probably never will.

I'm sick to death of hearing about it now and just wish it would go away.

I'd love to see the look on people's faces when GTA 5 is not what it's expected to be.

GTA V looks fun, I might get it. But unlike most people for some reason, I have the ability to play more than 1 game overtime.

Admittedly I'm a fickle guy when it comes to entertainment and often quickly forget what previously was "the best game ever". So I for one will not hesitate to drop TLoU after next Tuesday. In my opinion you guys have missed the golden window which was open to you by not releasing any DLC before then.

For me last weekend was the last chance (if any) TLoU had in holding my attention because no matter how good it may be I fear it won't be good enough to pry me away from a certain forthcoming release.

Listen, I'm not knocking you guys for standing by your principles and not "rushing out" any DLC because you want it to be perfect but I think you have just taken to long.

Does anyone agree/disagree?

agreed, glad to see that you are dying to play Beyond Two Souls as well, also Batman Arkham Origins is an amazing game, I'm going to play that right after that, those 2 games are the only quality games coming out in the coming months, so after those 2 I go play any The Last of Us DLC :smileyhappy:

Oh yes, now I remember why I won't be able to get GTA V 5 during release, because I'll be getting beyond:two souls.

Well seeing as they already released a FREE mode only a few months after release and still plan on releasing a SP and 2 MP DLCs in the future I don't see the problem.

The problem with the MP it doesn't have enough content and variety to keep players interested.  As bad as UC3 was game balance wise and glitch wise, it did have a lot of content and modes... almost too much for the amount of players playing.

With only two modes (deathmatch variations and interrogation) and also with the no MP announcement from ND until the game was released, it's obvious that MP was an afterthought and rushed.

It doesn't help that ND is very tight lipped on any future DLC, release dates, what they have in stored.  No announcements, no trailers, nothing.  It's a headscratcher why they are waiting.  Nothing good is coming from being hush hush.

We know they are very busy with the DLC but "waiting for the right time to announce the DLC" as stated in one of their interview videos isn't doing this game and player pool any good.

I enjoy the MP and find a wide variety of players in the modes.

OP I feel just like you do bro. This MP has not received the kind of support it deserves. Here we are 2 1/2 months after release and all we still know about the dlc is that it is "coming soon".

2 variations of deathmatch, a poorly conceived objective mode, 7 maps total, and limited customization options really leads to a general feeling of boredom.

Hardly any of my friends play anymore and with GTA 5 releasing so soon, that number will surely decrease from like 6 to 1. Nobody plays this anymore! It is just too dam repetitive!!! Even these forums are just a shell of what they were even a few weeks ago.

This MP had the potential to truly be awesome, it is a dam shame ND didn't give it the support it deserved.

Honestly after tomorrow I think I'm done too.

They are in the process of giving this game the support people want it to have. Despite the generic "Soon™" message we all keep getting, DLC will be coming (I wouldn't be surprised if they announced it this week or the next week in order to compete with GTA V) and there are still patches to fix bugs, balance things out, and support the new DLC.

The DLC may be great, it may be terrible, but people need to be patient and actually wait for it to come, instead of giving up on the fact that Naughty Dog is taking their time to make sure the content is actually good and worthwhile.
