Headshots should be auto-kills

44 replies 1245 views Edited Jun 19, 2013

Players should not be able to be revived after being shot in the head.  To quote my character, if I shoot you in the brain with a hunting rifle, there should be "no coming back from that."

I hate to use the "realism card" too often in regards to video games, but this is too much.

i get what youre saying, but its for the sake of balance.  If this were the case everyone would use the hunting rifle and it would be overpowered

And why not?  You like getting revived after your melon is popped?

I don't see why?  The realism card should never be played in video games, especially not one as blantantly unrealistic as this one (bleeding out).  Besides, if they bring him back up that leads to a good match and on the other hand you have a 2nd chance to earn more parts from getting him down/executing him.

I see where youre coming from, but i think insta headshot kills are too much. As much as I love MGS4, that MP was just a headshot fest. I think this game strikes a good balance of fun, accessability, and "realism."

No because i have played MP's were there was 1 shot head shots. This is what killed Bioshock 2, everyone just ran around with the cross bow poping heads all day. I use the hunting rife and bow and it would make them both OP.

Use the military riffle. Fools drop for good with a head shot assuming they down have the helmet on. No takedown needed Smiley Very Happy

That was because it took 15 bullets to kill someone in MGO.

headshots had a range in mgo though, even though I do agree it became a headshot fest in that game, with people performing ballerina spins and twists using single-shot M4s to go for nothing but headshots.

There's 2 ways to instantly kill people which is military HS and molotovs. Seems good enough to me. Giving more ways to insta-kill people will become to hectic seeing as each life is precious.

Oh, I'm just leaving. -Best Uncharted character ever
