Leaderboard boosters - Why is this allowed?

Hello,

You may have seen me around on the forums as I'm quite active but for those who haven't I normally play online when I'm available and I'm 24th in the world and 120th in supply raid legitimately.

The biggest issue I have with the title is boosters. I'm 24th~ in the world via clans and I have yet to find more than a few of the people who are above me on that leaderboard who are playing the game how it is meant to be played - legitimately.

To achieve my position I've had to play consistently well to obtain a high number of rations each game, I for example had to obtain more than 150+ rations in a game last night. Now. To obtain that many rations you have to parts/min that reflects this, correct?

Why is that If I deduct everyone who's played less than an hour on the supply leaderboard (and the boosters) that I become 5th in the world for supply raid? Surely that everyone who's above me on the clan leaderboard has to be obtaining a similar amount of rations per/min to even be hitting 300 members (especially when its 150 rations a game at 180 survivors!) but no, only a handful of these players have seemingly matching stats. Same with the survivor leaderboard. I can't find any of the top 10 names on the leaderboard above me although they have to be earning similar or at least more parts/min to even be gaining x amount of parts required in a match to progress in numbers. Almost all of them bar a few names are boosting there clans to achieve this. I don't doubt that the people around me and below are playing legitimately. I just find it hard to believe that people are playing the game without boosting and obtaining 250-300+ members.

I have even found some of them that have low amounts of time played but over 30k parts best game and its thrown them into the top 10 category.

It's hard to be a legitimate player when it seems that everyone else is not playing by the rules.

Opinions?

With a best game score of 40,000+ one of the top 10 is obviously a booster.

Yeah lad I think that most of them are, the best game I've had is around 8k~ I think and that was with 20 downs/executions, revives and healing where as some of them are bashing out 40k a game yet they aren't above me on parts/min obvious boosting.

Seems like ND doesn't care much for the leaderboards. Guess I'm just going to find another multiplayer hobby instead of trying to breach top 10 for clan.

It's exactly why leaderboards are pointless.

I don't even know why they're still put in games as it's always going to be some no-life boosters in the top 10.

Just annoying that leaderboards are no longer an indication of who's the best at what mode etc.

Now its just an indication of how many people have been able to break the game and how badly they've done it. Then how everyone can see how badly they've broke the game so they can receive x amount of messages praising their ability to be **bleep** and receive world wide recognition for this ability.

What is the point of having the leaderboards, your just giving credit to the illegitimate players that haven't earned the title and the fact is that ND will never correct this, punish them or even give an ounce of care into this.

Ibiza_Twist is a known booster in U3 so i'm not impressed to see he had a clan of 300 people.
As for the other leaderboards, i think that might be bugs like the ones that happened in U3 leaderboards.
People with high kills but low levels etc...

When I saw the 300+ survivors I was like ''How?..'' only to find out it was a booster.
