Live Update to Multiplayer

We have a live update going for TLOU MP today. You'll see it kick in at some point today before 7pm PST. Here's the rundown:

 

Explosion Expert –

 

level 1 – reduced to 20% for explosives, 10% for Molotovs

level 2 – reduced to 40% for explosives, 20% for Molotovs

 

Hunting Rifle –

 

Base Weapon – 10% increase in scope-in speed

                               8% increase in reload speed

Upgrade 1 –        8% increase in scope-in speed

 

Flamethrower – Killing efficiency has been increased.

 

Keep in mind that Upgrade level 2 Hunting Rifle stays exactly the same, and the reload speed of upgrade 1 is the same as before so that will make the Hunting Rifle pretty sweet.

Sweet, this definitely needed to be tweaked, if it works well now it might need to cost 3 loadout points, we'll see how this works out. Can you tell us exactly what was changed? For instance was the distance increased or the damage dealt?

Actually, that's not all. Can you explain what you mean by "killing efficiency" of the Flamethrower? Is it more powerful? Does it have a larger spread? Does it have a longer range? Does it hit through armor more easily?

 

I need to know, cause I love that Flamethrower! Smiley Tongue

The flamethrower buff is welcome but was worded very vaguely. Can u go into more detail about it?

Not everything can be live updated.

Why though? I'm assuming it has to do with the size of the update?


The weapons stats are just variable numbers that can easily be changed and pushed out. Things like bug fixes need bits of code re-writing, which needs to be done in a patch.

 

In other news, VironZZ's kills just grew 10%.

Has the Burst Rifle / Body Armour bug been addressed yet? (i.e. it barely causes any damage)
