The problem with the SAR is that it kills easily at all ranges.

Hunting rifle: Useless at close range.
Burst rifle: Useless at long range.
Semi-Auto: Good at close range, mid-range, and long range.

You don't think that's a slight problem?

How would you solve that issue Jacko? What could be implemented to balance the SAR at ranges?

Everybody who gets killed by a weapon they dont use themselves claim its over powered and needs a nerf.

Thats what happened to the Gmal. And look how it killed U3 and turned it into a pure blindfire fest.

I think the accuracy is a bit too high on it. Even when it's not upgraded.

Perhaps add more recoil? Or make the reticle recover from a shot slower?

The revolver does the same damage as the sar at any range as well.
Have you head shot some one with the 9mm yet?
9mm kills with two head shots and executes in three.

No nerf of load out weapons.
Buff to get closer to balance, makes everyone happy.
Dont ruin weapons people enjoy using because you dont like the weapon.
Tolerence for other players preferences in weapons will take this multiplayer forward.

I shoot you first, I die= you lag. Vice versa not applicable.

I win fights constantly against sar users with  revolver only  load outs.

What about the incredible stopping power of the 9mm?

 

My opinion,

you have some thing against the sar and your over looking other things because of it.

 

 

If the sar was completely removed from this game there would be threads the next day complaining that some thing else is over powered.

I agree with this 100%. That thing is a laser beam at level 2 and rips through enemies like they're nothing.

 

Why people don't use this more often I don't know. I guess the Semi and the Bow are taking higher priority for whatever reason.

And because I can down people just as easily and much further away with the SAR at level 0 unfortunately. I can do well with the burst rifle upgraded, but I always do way better with the SAR, even if I don't touch it. Unfortunately I just flat out blow half the time with the bow.
