I agree. I didn't have any issue with freezing in game at launch.

I got some guy skating across the ground, I was able to get some hitmarkers, but the lag made his moves incredibly unpredictable, he was near impossible to track.

No it isn't just you. I have been having ghost bullets around corners like mad since the update went live. ND really should have looked into getting the players with good connections that were freezing unfroze rather than lowering the standard allowed to played the game if it's magically fixed those with good connections to unfreeze, no matter their download/upload, then there was blatantly a ping/latency issue on their end, not ND's.

 

With how popular the game is, I guess we're going to have to expect many knee jerk reactions calling for live updates/patches that slowly break the game...

Laggers should b punished. *I'm* laggy a lot of times. Seriously, ask ANYONE who has ever ran into me in UC3. I don't like that I win because of lag. That's BS, and I feel cheated. I'm okay if I stand still for a while. I mean, it's only a problem if you were running around like a complete imbecile as if it was Uncharted and not TLOU, but I doubt that. Right?

If they freeze yes it ruins the game for them, but if they don't it ruins it for four other people on the opposite team. Getting shot through walls, being killed by explosives that are not near you isn't fun and most of all, isn't competetive.

As much as I agree, Naughty Dog won't go back to the previous update, because it wasn't in their artistic vision for the game. Uncharted 3 had separate hit boxes, and those never came back because ND said separate hitboxes were not what they wanted the game to be. Uncharted 2 was 1.04, before ND decided that they always wanted the game to be more like 1.05.

My connection is fine and I still have problems like being randomly disconnected from games this has always been a problem for a lot of players since uncharted 2
