So I enjoyed the new MP mode last night.  But there are a couple things....some of them are just problems with the game mode and some of them have nothing to do with ND.

 

Issues:

#1 Everybody still treats this mode as a deathmatch and just kills the enemy (at least everyone on my team). 

 

#2 Teammates cannot fathom how to stay together....or how to sneak up on the enemy to get easy interrogations.

 

#3 ND you really need to do something about forcing new players to play with "experienced" players as this just exacerbates problems #1 and #2

 

#4 There needs to be a set timeframe for respawning in this mode or enemy players need to spawn a little further away from their objective.  I know they need to be allowed time to defend but I have had the enemy literally spawn right on top of us once we cleared them out (and on top of that there is not telling how long the enemy will be dead...will it be the 16 seconds or will it be almost instantaneous?)

 

#5 I am not sure I like the increased speed of opening the safes just because time is running low.  Some people are just waiting and defending their safe until time is almost out and then a single person can unlock the safe in just a couple seconds at the end. 

 

By and large I enjoyed the new gamemode......now if all the ret@rds who have no clue how to work as a team will just stop playing it like deathmatch or leave the gamemode it would be much better.

Well, my first try in testing out the new mode started with a very strange bug... For some reason I went from the loading screen of the map (The Dam) right back to the Lobby, but I could still hear the ambient sounds of the map O_o

The matchmaking still doesn't seem to work right (A lvl 84+74 against a bunch of lvl 7-9 guys? c'mon...)

 

I also had one weird glitch were after I died and someone left the game, I was still following my teammates as a spectator, but our Lockbox where marked as the target to attack.

 

Besides that it really just seems like a deathmatch with a cute little extra in it so far. Still better than nothing. It's a fresh wind at least.

How can it be deathmatch????  Seriously?  I had allies who played it like it was deathmatch and we lost horribly like 3 times in a row.  Despite the fact that they killed the enemy fairly regularly they never bothered to actually play the game and thus we lost.  If by saying "this is the same as deathmatch" you mean that killing people is a main priority then..............you are playing the wrong genre.  EVERY CTF, or other type of mode where there is an objective, still places a strong emphasis on killing the enemy to be able to complete your objective.

As noted, downing enemies is more useful after you get the location, as it delays spawning.

And executing by gunfire gets no info.

Objective modes are always full of trolls...

dude... you just said yourself that people are treating this just like deathmatch... I haven't had the chance to test it out with my proper team yet, but the few matches I just played were mainly "oh, let's down those guys and "interrogate" them... which is basically just an exicution with another animation.

I kinda imagined it like you'd really have to INTERROGATE the enemies. That it would take a longer time and that your teammates have to protect you while you do so. THAT would've given it the right feeling to it.

Played a couple interrogation matches last night. I decided to be the guy to defend the box while my mates went on the offensive. it was quite fun but went back to supply raid to finish my clan mission.

Looks interesting. We'll see how it goes tonight when I try it out.

 

I'm not sure I get the survivor parts distribution change tho...the better you are, the more parts you get? doesn't sound fair to me. I like the welfare system and I don't think rewarding the winning team with more parts is the way to go.

 

It is already hard enough to recover when your team is having a bad game even tho you did good.

 

Anyways, now we'll wait for the weapons/items patch and the DLC. I'm glad this new game mode is part of a patch and not the DLC.

 

Now, fix the hackers/cheaters and reset the leaderboards...can't believe there's dozen of pages of top people with 0 game time played.

Then I misunderstood what you were talking about.  Just because people treat this like a deathmatch doesnt mean it is a deathmatch and I read that you thought this was just deathmatch with a tweak.  When in reality its an objective based mode and idiots are treating it like a deathmatch mode.  So I apologize for the confusion there............and yes idiots will always be idiots no matter what mode they play.  Also I do see you point it would be interesting if an interrogation actually took about 10 seconds to fully complete.....(shivs could still have a bonus and only take 5 seconds to complete).
