From what I've seen in regards to the patch, it sounds pretty cool. The new game mode definitely sounds like it will be a fun thing to jump in here and there when we get bored with Supply Raid.
Already seen the changes to the item boxes locations. Don't really care.
As far as balancing items that teams get, I thought it was already pretty well balanced. The better you're doing the less items you get, right?
Special Execution thing may as well just have been left alone if you can't prevent your teammate from actually dying in my opinion. Robbing noobs of their execution points seems kind of cruel Naughty Dog. If you're gunna do that, go the whole 9 yards and allow us to pick up our teammate that was downed, with exactly how much health his bar had when the person started the special execution.
Overall I'm not EXTREMELY excited about this patch. I'd be much more happy to hear about some NEW MAPS. I'm getting a bit tired of Checkpoint, Dam, Downtown, High School, University, Lakeside, and Bills town. Socom 2 on the playstation 2 released with 22 maps. 22 freaking maps, and then they got 3 dlc maps. I hate that games these days are releasing with 6 or 7 maps only.
PS: Did you guys tweak grenades at some point to make them more powerful? I was starting to get downed and executed by single grenades I ran by when I had full armor and health. That's not cool, don't ever do that again. I also noticed you made the fuse time less at some point. Maybe like a week ago is when I noticed this. Seems like that's all stopped now, thankfully.
