The regional part of matchmaking seems to be pretty good so far. Its the high pingers that bother me.

and I get.

KSA... Smiley Indifferent WHY?

Ugh.

It depends on who is the party leader and when you usually play.

If it's you, you should find UK/EU players, as long as you don't play late at night.

I actually very rarely see any EU players.. Unless they are Portuguese.. Which is actually just as bad and laggy as KSA players for some reason.

Get up there.
I want to be the reason you're looking down at your phone laughing as you walk into a pole.

Oh how I would love regional MM.

Nothing worse than being thrown into a 1bar filled lobby of Japanese players when I am in Vancouver BC....

I have a few lobby pictures on my phone that show just how horrible the MM is.

However I can't upload via my phone on here.

I have a 30MB down 5mb up wired connection with a consistent ping of 15ms or less with speedtest.net and no packet loss with pingtest.net yet I consistently get put in games where I have zero bars connection to the host and I live in Texas.  I guess scoot and I are the only people in Texas playing this gameSmiley Indifferent

Probably not a function of your connection performance, but rather one of your Router NAT algortihm, UPNP or a Ports Forwarding setup ...

sam, if you're in Texas, you should see plenty of decently connected US players. There are several that post here. If you play at night, I'm surprised you haven't seen me and my friends. I'm in Va and my friends are in SC, FL and AL. We see Texans all the time (at least they say they're from Texas). Its such a central and fairly populated part of the country.

Luckily my regional matchmaking has been pretty good. Even when I let my Californian friends be party leader. Still can't keep out all the 3G wireless users though. Well not without a filter... you listening ND?
