"In a follow up post, I suggested that your idea (which I’m not saying is bad – it’s actually quite inventive/creative) might be better in some kind of tournament system/mode.  You’d still get your reward/prestige item but it would not affect core gameplay…which is all most of us so-called nerf/buff naysayers are on about because of our experience with Uncharted 3 Multiplayer.   I feel TLOU MP is actually quite balanced and I’d like to keep it that way…that’s all."
A pendant pickup would hardly affect core gameplay. And that uncharted argument is weak. This also isn't a buff or a nerf. And if it's not patched in through dlc, tthere's always a sequel Smiley Very Happy

Guess you don't pick up your parts/ammo after a shiv kill? Why not have a pendant with those dropables.

Dont always pick it up when some dude is going to fire at me. Plus theres no need to put BF/CoD features in this game simply for the sake of doing so.

Annnd you don't come get it later? :s Guess you don't care about you supplies then XD And there is a need for a battlefield feature since this multiplayer lacks any stealth whatsoever. Get 6 days playtime then try to argue. Smiley Happy How many times is there a guy hiding and waiting in a match? Hardly ever. Whole teams just go from toolbox to toolbox. Pretty bad when it's so easy to predict players.

I will go back once its safe to do so. And I'm on my 5th 12 week cycle and have all the unlocks including the skull mask. I guess I can stop caring about supplies now and play for fun now. Smiley Tongue

@LordKratos512…

Agreed.  A pendant pickup would not adversely affect core gameplay.

However, an exclusive reward for a specific type of kill I believe WOULD affect core gameplay…particularly when playing with randoms.  In my experience, there are currently enough (too many) players out there going lone wolf without adding extra incentive.

The person who made the shiv topic on gamefaqs made it before this topic. I thought you were them. Shame on you for passing this off as your idea.

I'm starting to go out of my way to shiv people

As long as they seem unaware, even if i'm flanking someone engaged in a firefight, I check if I have a shiv, and if I do, that's how I roll the kill.
