I think it should be:


Shotgun: 4 points

Military: 3 points

Flamethrower: 3 points

El Diablo: 3 points

Machete: 3 points

Assault Rifle: 3 points

The points are fine the way it is. No need to change it.
Skill, Coordination, and Experience will lead a team to victory.

This is a well thought argument and while I do agree with your points about the shotgun, I think that raising it's Loadout Point cost is not a good idea. The reason being simple. Flamethrower. In a typical CQC 1v1 fight, the shotgun downs faster, but thanks to ever present lag, the shotgun guy loses. Yes, he gets a down, but he burns a second later. Downed guy can be revived, but a charred corpse can't. As the flamethrower guy, this is the outcome of most of my fights with shotgun users. In cases none of us gets a jump at the other guy. Lastly, the ammo for the shotgun is pretty expensive, meaning you can't very well spam it, or use it as your main gun the whole time like you can do with flamethrower, and if you're good enough, with El Diablo as well.

I think the argument for the shotgun to be 4 loadout points is a good argument however the price of ammo is what makes it fair at 3 loadout points. Machete should be 3 loadout points and cost less, military sniper is debateable at 3 loadout points, the rest are fine as is.

If it cost 4, it would be as much as the machete, and the machete is so much better, it wouldn't be fair.

In all seriousness, how many parts does the machete cost? I don't feel like wasting time building a loadout for the machete.

I know it's 4 loadout points, and thats definitely over the top. But how many parts is it to purchase? I've never actually checked.
