Sometimes I think that ND should close these forums permanently. Too many cooks spoil the broth...

lol it actually is 3 seconds, probably not exactly, but I ran in custom and did it real quick before writing that time.

Health packs? although they do have sharp edges. Could easily be tossed like a shuriken. Could have someones eye out. NERF Smiley Wink

 

On topic I love the smoke 'n' shiv. I've only managed to do it about a dozen times but when I do I'm generally in and out like a stealthy ninja. Bit like my love like.

technically people have been crying about premade health packs around the map and wanting them removed. That is technically a nerf to health packs as well.

Check the connection bars of your opponents. I've never been stunned from ridiculous distances when everyone has 4-5 bars. It also happened with explosives' radius in Uncharted MP.

 

So yeah, yet another reason to have some sort of ping-based matchmaking or a toggle.

Smoke bombs are fine.  They're a medium strength offensive weapon, because they must be used in conjunction with something else.

 

And they're an effective defensive tool for escape.

 

Do not change them.

 

However, the glitch of animating out of a smoke bomb has to be patched, because it's obviously not intentional.

Ok so after reading this I just feel lag is the problem. Let us hope that this will be patched up.

My opinion on the smoke and shiv is that it's fine without explosive expert. When I put on EE2 the radius is so large that I won't even be touching my own smoke and still get stunned. I think you should get rewarded for successfully stunning someone because I always bounce smokes off of objects or walls which requires great timing and precision to work.
