Stay with your TEAM! Stop drifting away!

44 replies 562 views Edited Jun 28, 2013

Not sticking together is one of the main reasons you aren't winning. Not sticking together means your enemy who does stick together will just pick you off one by one. It's not that hard to understand.. You need to stay with your team to win. Although it doesn't guarantee you a 100% victory, it does however guarantee a higher possibility of winning the match..

Stop drifting away from your team. Stick together. Always.

I'm sick of people going off on their own ways and then they always wonder why they keep losing. Well, the answer is right there.  You're drifting away from your teammates!

Stick together!! Stick and move!

Not always. I actually "drifted" off and the rest of my team and all the enemies were fighting each other while I was going around the map looting supply boxes and flanking after.

The best teams know to stay together, but ALSO know when to "drift away" into flanking positions, and how far they can afford to spread out without becoming isolated and open to divide-and-conquer attacks.

Yes it's all well and good to know that you can't always win by clumping together but definitely the pattern you see with a lot of newbies is they think they can just go off on their own - which isn't so bad - but they ALSO think that if they find the enemy they HAVE to engage them on their own. THIS is the problem, and I don't know if they just think they have no choice or they actually expect to win against a 4 man team with limited supplies and intel.

If you don't know what you're doing or don't know the map, STICK WITH THE TEAM. Stop picking fights that you have no hope of winning.

Sticking near teammates gets you:

- Unable to back away as they seem to want to stand in and block exits
- Unable to get into cover as the moment you step out of it to attack they hog the spot you want to step back into
- Give away my position
- Steal my executions while providing very little downs for me to steal

I find myself staying away from my teammates and just counter attacking.

I prefer a 2 pair team. 2 people stick together and the pairs are separate.
