Idk, the only thing I noticed about the 2x4s, is instead of seeing them all modded and ready to kill 20 seconds into a game, I now see them modded and ready to kill about 2 minutes into the game.

 

Slightly more fair as before anyone who killed/got killed before opening a middle box had a very slim chance to get a 2x4 the rest of the match unless welfare kicked in. Now not only is there a higher chance for you to get at least 1 2x4 if you check the caches regularly, the beginning of the match isn't dependent on those 2x4s.

 

All as well, I also see the same ratio of explosives as I've seen since day one of the game.
