Uncensor European multiplayer(outside of Germany)

I think its ridiculous that i pay 60 Euro's for this game and its multiplayer mode is censored because of the dictatorship of Merkel in Germany. Why does the rest of Europe have to suffer because of that, just censor the german edition and uncensor the other countries that shouldnt be too hard.

I live in The Netherlands, I haven't played the multiplayer yet, what did they censor from it?

Agreed, although the price of it is irrelevant.

Making all EU countries follow one countries laws/regulations is insane, it woudl be like every USA  state apply a state law across the board rather than follow federal law.

There is dismemberment in the US version more blood. http://www.movie-censorship.com/news_en.php?ID=5662 like showcased in this article also if you look up youtube videos of the US version you will see the same thing.

This isnt the first time Europe gets screwed because of German censorship. This has also happend with Twisted Metal where cutscenes go completely black because its too "violent" http://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=583814

Its fine that Germany wants to censor this kind of stuff but dont punish the rest of Europe that isnt affraid of violence for it. Its a M rated 18+ game it should never be censored.

ok, I don't remember to have seen dismemberment in the single player, was it censored there too?

while I don't really care about things that get censored, I am against censoring in itself, games are art, and you don't censor art, you're not going to cover the **bleep** of naked men or women on a painting either...

is Germany the only country in Europe who censors stuff in games? if so, then why does whole Europe has to 'suffer' from that? and why does Germany censor stuff in the first place...

There is dismemberment in the single player ive blown a guys head off and everything. Germany is the only country in the EU that censors this stuff the other country outside Europe is Australia who just banned State of Decay and Saints row 4.

I really would like to see what Naughty dog has to say about this cause if i had known it was censored i would have imported the game but they never said it was so its deceiving your customers if anything.

I can't believe it was never mentioned before release it was censored. I too would have imported it. ( thats probably the reason it was kept quiet) I'm shocked though and it makes no sense you can definitely dismember people in the sp. game why not the multiplayer? Ridiculous

+1, would have imported as well if it was known.

Strange that it's ok in single player, but not multi.

I think the game downloads a config file when you go online (other people have had error downloading config), I wonder if it's just a config issue, connect with a pal copy/from within the EU and the config that is downloaded has gore set to off.

Either way, they should definitely patch it.

Germany is the only EU country that hasn't adopted the PEGI rating system. Even Israel adopted it and it's not even in Europe...

That's a stupid system, if it's true.

What about IP geolocation?

if (IP_address == German) {

MP_censorship = true;

}

else {

MP_censorship = false;

}

Come on, it can't be that hard to implement it!
