What about more rustic weapons?

Sometimes I think some rustic weapons soul fit nicely in this game. I'm not asking for more weapons or anything, since I'm not sure if this would be good to the gameplay.
It's just a exercise of imagination.

Blowgun: silenced, specific aim (something like bow), low or none damage, but with a poison effect. Maybe a purchaseable. I don't think the poison thing would be op if the life drain was slow and could be easily healed by a medpack.

Brass knuckle: I didn't figure out how this one should work, because I couldn't find a place between the normal punch and the 2x4.

Shepherd's Sling: it should be cheap, abundant ammo (rocks), a ballistic and short/medium ranged shot, tricky aim and awful reload time.

Something with chains: anything, 'cause chains are badass!

Just for fun, obviously Smiley Wink

Or even a Pipe! It would have 8 hits and can be upgraded like the plank! Possibly even a hatchet!
Oh wait...

^Yeah I was hoping the pipe would be in the DLC, 3 hits to down, swings slightly slower than the Machete, but a wee bit faster than the 2x4. Hatchete can be a purchasable 1 hit melee, 1-2 extra hits with brawler.

Yes. A shovel. How did I not think of this?
A shovel would be perfect.

You can make a wonderful 2 headed axe from a shovel.

What about a hoe?
