What is something that results to getting kicked from a match?

8 replies 199 views Edited Oct 25, 2013

I got kicked from a match yesterday..

I think it's probably because of Headshot spree that I had in that match..

I got 4 headshots after each other less than 4 seconds from each headshot with HR in the 1st round, and in the second round I got 3 after each other too... Then I instantly got kicked?? I did not use any kind of hacks in that match..

**bleep**??

Why is that? Who is the one who chooses who get kicked? A moderator who is watching over the game? And or the host?

A side note : That match was a public match..

I watch over all the games. I am the one that makes all the decisions. I kicked you for a reason. Repent, and you will be forgiven.

He's kidding, obviously. Serious answer? Someone had Internet problems. The host? You? Nobody knows.

Thing is, if someone has lag, someone's gotta go. Looks like you got the short stick.

Rumour has it that being kicked happens when the host of the match signs out via xmb. Kicks everybody off

The host either DC'd or left the game. It will automatically kick players afterwards.

My friend got kicked out of the match (him alone) while we all continued the match. How do you explain that? So my friend DC'ed from the match? Well, it don't "really" make sense because he happens to be my husband too and we are sharing one modem with wired cable (both of us). If he was kicked, why am I still on? LOL

I have a theory that if say, the current host's connection slows and so the game migrates hosts, and say it migrates to a host with nat 2 or 3, and everyone with an incompatible nat type to that player get immediately kicked.

Not sure if that is logical, but I can't think of any other reason why only 1 - 2 people would get kicked out at any given time.
