- Explosion Expert 2

- Crafter 2&3

- Amount of Health Kits on the map

- You can carry 3 of them

 

Remove EE2 or alter it and only giving you the ability to hold one molotov would fix everything

Might have to agree with TwinSnakes. Molotovs themselves aren't the issue primarily but the surrounding aspects that make them such an issue. Carrying 3 plus the fact that Health Kits, which use the same supplies, are way too available throughout maps (and respawn) and the Crafter skill allowing them to be handed out makes them all too common. EE2 just compounds the problem.

Would be nice if ND brought over the bottles from SP, scattered them across the level randomly (not in boxes), and they were needed to make molotovs. Granted, that would limit the overall amount of molotovs in all 8 players' inventories and would just become another issue of one team having all the bottles =\

Highlighted is my issue. If you can only have one at a time, it would make a huge difference for the better without having to make any big changes. The actual power itself is fine, but mollies should be a special kill - a treat, if you will(!) - not the main weapon in the game......
