Firstly, I know some people can get disconnected, it happens. But when people mysteriously disconnect after getting killed, or their team is losing, well it starts to look a bit iffy
Getting rage mail at the end of a game also kinda gives it away
I do like that TLOU punishes rage quitters, although I feel the pain when it unfairly effects people who get a disconnect ot freeze etc, I've had it happen to me, overall tho, I like the system as it is.
Anyhoo, enjoy this video of some classic rage quitting
I have quit once. Was earlier today in fact. After 3 or so questionable deaths I checked the scoreboard and saw the enemy team were 2 bars.
I also had someone quit on me during the execution animation, I was beating the ground as he just popped out of existence
Lol, everyone was getting mad at me and my party yesterday, calling us 'Campers' and saying 'They think they're playing COD' after winning a huge amount of times.
Some guy said he had 225 Surviviors to try put his down (Which was **bleep**, I checked the leaderboard), we then killed him the next round and teambagged him, and sure enough, I'm so Mad (Not his real name) has left the game
EDIT: Holy crap, I was just playing with that first guy
I have the tendency to make people rage quit. Annoying when your trying to get more than 150 rations a game.
They should implement a feature that punishes leavers (disconnects, dashboard's, turn offs) by not only punishing there clan but also imposing match bans etc. that a select few of other titles impose on their online segments.
Although its sad that there is no way to differentiate legitimate game quits such as the host leaving against people who leave on purpose.
you know what's worst than rage quitters?
People who are good at the game but still act like jerks to the other players...
Happily I'm not one of them, if people are friendly in a lobby I'll always try and have a laugh with them, I don;t care about KDR or losses cos someone isn;t 'good', to me a good player is someone I can enjoy my gametime with, simple as that. I don;t even class myself as a good player anyway, as anyone would have heard who watched the video.
@lombax, your 'someday' comment... that would be VERY nice indeed sir!
