Accepted Solution

idea to reduce rage quitters

It's simple and most probably wouldn't agree.
As you all know, with the new trophies, everyone just quits after dying once. Solution? I think We should take the same path of Gears Of War 2:

Remove the option to Leave Game.
It's so simple yet so genius. This way, the only way to quit is to quit game or turn off the console.

With such a long process to get back on, who could really be bothered to quit in the first place? It worked for me on Gears 2 (although I'm not much a quitter anyway) and I'm **bleep** sure it'll work on this. It won't completely stop quitters, But I'm sure it'll reduce it.

resetting your console is still faster than playing through an entire 15 minute game. ragequitting trophy hunters will still resort to ragequitting regardless.

Remove the Leave game option (which doesn't cause host disconnections) -> XMB ragequits will increase by 400%!!! :catmad:

The OP is a genius (NOT)

Make a "disconnect" % and when it gets above 7-10% keep them locked out of the game for 30 minutes.  if it gets to 15% lock them out for an hour, anything above 20% lockes them out for the next 6+ hours.

if not that, if your disconnect or leave % is 5% or more you lose loadout points, or the ability to play DLC or something temporarily.

Otherwise make a whole server for people who's disconnect rates are above a certain threshold so that rage wuitters only play with other rage quitters.

maybe you can help prevent rage quitting by making purchasable lobbies and NON purchasable lobbies too

1. No. I don't want to be penalized just because the p2p host ragequit.

2. Just because you hate purchasables, it doesn't mean that they have to split (again?) the pool up. We already have 12 pools.

Why would YOUR disconnect rate go up if a host quits? in MGO that never affected your disconnect ratio.

Why did you get an unearned loss and why did you lose your tournament ticket in UC3 MP whenever the host ragequit?

There's your answer... we're talking about ND, not Konami.
