I have really been enjoying the heck out of this new version..now that I bought the book I don't have to keep screaming for help....lol
I was wondering if the earlier Tomb Raider TRilogy compilation is similar in play style. I figure the graphics won'tbe as spectacular but I am enjoying all the action and challenges, and as you can't get additional maps for regular mode...thought to expand my playing with an additional game.

I bought the trilogy after finishing Tomb Raider (2013). For sure the graphics aren't great - I've only been playing Legends so far, and think the other two will be better. Gameplay is good and I'm really enjoying the game. For the $20 it cost I think it was well worth it.

I have platinums in all 3 games. They are fun but not easy to platinum. I played all three during the PSN outage a couple years ago.
Woah, when did they add a Tomb Raider section to this site? Back in 2006 when I joined, they had one but for some odd reason they took it out once Uncharted became popular. It was like Tomb Raider wasn't important anymore?
I actually started a thread here, and I thought it would be kinda of cool if they could make a game that features both Lara Croft and Nathan Drake instead of them being these arch enemies in the sense of the Indian Jones style gameplay.

I think Trilogy is a good pick up, if you enjoy the Tomb Raider franchise, as a whole.
You really can't beat getting 3 games in 1 deal.
I think Anniversary, the remake of the original 1996 Tomb Raider is the one of the best Tomb Raiders made. Next to the current 2013 Tomb Raider, of course.
Plus getting Underworld and Legend along with that, isn't bad either.
If you're looking for a few hours of fun, plus challenges and adventure..I'd pick it up.
