So I've been looking around Twisted Metal wiki's and other articles but I'm not sure what to make of what's going on in Twisted Metal. So I left for a little, well a little more than a little. Can anyone help me out here?
I have some things to say but I want to catch up before I start up any other threads here. Anything else I should know?

Oh wow, people still play it? I'm surprised.
And what I mean by major glitches, well online play was a major issue last I was on. Servers would claim not to be full when they are, finding servers that worked was a pain, and just straight up connecting to one was almost impossible.
Really sucks that no more support will come to this game, so much can be done with Twisted Metal.

I have to say that the online experience has been MUCH improved lately, for me personally at least.
I can generally get into games w/o much problems- only occassional network error but no where near as bad as it was.
I have not experienced a single drop in online mid game for a while (touch wood).
This could be simply to do with the smaller community not that ESP/SSM have released some magic secret patch.
Maybe the netcode can handle it now??
When I say 'smaller' coummunity though I mean there are still about 10-20 open rooms depending on time of day and you can always get into a game (at least 5 ongoing games at any one time usually).
The only gripe I have is that most people play DM and TDM- it is very difficult to get an LMS game going although the odd Hunted and Nuke game is usually present.
TMX isn't dead yet (and might not be for a while).
I don't think it will really pick up any more than it has but I believe it might stay right about where it is for a long time to come...

I still love and play Twisted Metal.Im also surpise because I never seen alot of fans continue to fight for a game that Sony stop supporting, most games just get left behind and forgotten.im glad Twisted Metal is not one of them

Got on today, there were only 6 servers but hey I guess it's better than none. Although two of them had ping up to 299.
Hopefully Sony doesnt abandon this title.

I recently bought the combo dualshock controller + twisted metal ( I needed another controller, but I found this deal and couldnt resist). Still waiting on it to get here, but hope to join the TM community soon, I remember playing TM on PSOne and had some hella fun, hope to see some of you soon >
My buddy also bought TM, so +2 active players to the community..lol
