That GIF is of the actual chapter, I just checked (And was a bit impressed). Also, when you use a GAU in that place, it takes you lower than the water, so you can see under it.

Fadi002 it's not only how the water looks, but also how the water reacts. Look at how the water, in the Cruise ship demo, starts at one side, and then as the ship starts to topple, it goes to the other side. And stuff like that. I didn't think that was possible in Uncharted 2
