Just cause I control the ridiculous recoil, don't punish me for it afterwards.

It's highly annoying when at a higher vantagepoint. And if nobody has this problem, that would only show those indivuals don't aim.

If I'm unclear: I shoot, recoil makes reticule go up, I control it, reticule stays in same position, I stop shooting, reticule doesn't reset to the middle of the screen (where I usually have it), but it makes the reticule go down, below the middle of the screen.

And that happens cause recoil isn't an input of aiming going up, while my controlling of recoil does count as input aiming down... my point, it's clunky and takes away the games flow.

I guess Robert Cogburn came up with this in order to punish those who aim...

Recoil in general is outrageous in this game, I have not heard of any other 3rd person shooter with such bs mechanics.

I already made a lengthy post along with a question in the Q&A thread:

The recoil system in UC3 mp is very harsh and un-friendly for veterans and newbies alike. It made aiming a lot more frustrating, and gunfights became more based on luck than precision. In addition, the "burst" mechanic for the automatics was dropped ( intentionally or unintentionally ) in UC3 mp while it exists in UC2 and UC3 campaign.

Please refer to this post for some explanation on the "burst" mechanic:

So, Can you please change ( tone down ) the recoil for at least all the rifles in UC3 MP to near the levels of UC3 campaign, and re-implement the "burst" mechanic in the MP along with some explanations for your responses ?

and here's their answer:

We went through a lot of tuning of the experience of shooting guns in multiplayer and continue to refine it. We feel the recoil works well to serve the multiplayer and its gameplay. The burst mechanic was tweaked due to player exploitation. We feel this is more balanced now as well.

So, according to the people that are responsible for UC3 MP, bursting and managing recoil are considered an "exploit". I seriously don't know what's their problem with aiming.

No offence to anyone, but I really hope that they won't take charge of UC4 MP.

If you started writing the post then opened another tab, signed out and signed in and then posted your message on the first tab it is likely that the post will come from the second account. But why would you log in on the forums with an alt...? You weren't going to kudo boost or something right?

Robert Cogburn hates everything that promotes aiming (burst firing, Fleet Foot, G-MAL etc.)

Why are you surprised?

Accidentally kudo'd your post. Smiley Tongue Kudo boosting is very time consuming and no I wasn't going to do it. It's actually significantly easier to make a PSN account on a PC than it is on the PS3 so that's almost exactly what I did. What can I say, I'm a multitasker. It'll probably end up as a troll account or not used at all.
