So I just played a few matches of co-op arena on crushing and it seem like ND jacked up the difficulty a little bit there we're more npcs and they we're more aggressive three militia men spawned on a early round of gold rush...I think ND has been making tweaks but just not telling body....and I like it
As for three Militia Men, that happens at times, (I think it happens if you leave them alone and take out the easy guys first) I've also seen around five PAK-80 Brutes grouped together once.
This is the danger of Gold Rush and Siege: if you kill too many enemies without completing the round, the spawn layout loops. Gold Rush has the additional inconvenience of having a valid enemy count of ~20 (unsure of the exact number), so the choker(s) of round 3, the armored choker(s) of round 6, and the Brute(s) of round 7 are always invalid.
Interesting...the most Pak80 brutes I’ve seen is four…but then we try to kill them as soon as possible. What’s really scary though is seeing a Pak80 brute sprinting…I’ve seen this a handful of times. Bad enough they’re nearly invulnerable but to know they can actually run!
As regards the difficulty, I agree (and so do all my crushing coop buddies). Every so often, Crushing seems to get turned up a notch.
I consider myself to be awfully good at coop Arena. A while back, a friend and I completed most (if not all) the maps on Crushing…duoing. I think I’ve gotten a little bit better since then but I seriously doubt we could do it again – particularly on some maps like Syria and Lost City.
