Do people care about wins/losses?

36 replies 347 views Edited Nov 28, 2012

I've been playing Uncharted 3 for about 5 months now, and during my first 2-3 months, when I still getting into the game, I used to rage-quit a lot. Thing is, I didn't know that quitting a game results in a loss. I actually found out only a few days ago. Therefore, my wins/loss ratio is pretty bad. I have something like 2300 losses and only about 1300 wins. My kills/deaths ratio, on the other hand, is quite OK (about 31000 kills and 21000 deaths) and it just keeps getting better since I'm constantly improving my game. So yeah, I was just wondering, do people really care about wins/losses, or do they only care about kills/deaths? Personally, I didn't use to care about it, but now it kinda irks me that I have so many losses.

I don't really care about any of it, I'm just here to play the game and have fun, and it's about time people realise that's what games are for.
ALL boosters are now maxed out.
ALL treasure sets completed.
Remaining trophies: Overseer (0/1)

I don't care about it at all. Wanna know why? Because it doesn't mean **bleep**, if somebody has a high W/L ratio doesn't particularly mean he's good most of the time it just means he plays a lot in parties.

In objective and plunder, I want to win and dont care about my own stats on the scoreboard.

In deathmatches, I care about my own performance, and dont care if I lose.

The real question here is does anybody care about their overall statistics in general. And the answer is a large NOPE!

I dont really care about either my K/D or W/L, as long as im positive on both of 'em, i dont care if i have 1000 kills and 999 deaths, im happy with that.

Winning is the objective (even in Co-op), so yeah, most people want to win matches.
