Does anyone use paid boosters?

21 replies 415 views Edited Nov 10, 2012

I bought a paid booster in the 2011 summer beta, then never again when I realized how superfluously expensive each are. Why should I spend $100,000 in game cash on the bargain paid booster when I can buy the permanent regular bargain booster at the same price?

Back in the Beta, the prices were actually WAY lower. Ping and Bargain were only $35,000, not the $100,000 they are now. And to answer your question, not really.

They were a lot cheaper, but those who had everything and a lot of cash started buying them to get an even bigger advantage in almost every game they played. So they raised the price.

I only use ping on thr first time or two I play a new block mesh map.

I used to always use the 'none' paid booster because I thought it would show beside my boosters when I killed someone, but when I killed my friend after getting party split (we were splitscreening) and saw that it doesn't show, I stopped equipping it before each match Smiley Tongue

Beta was much cheaper. Their advantages were exposed more in the release game, so ND made them really expensive. I like this, as there are less bargain stackers/SA users, but people would still occasionally use them due to the max rank cap being so easy, so people would have plenty of extra cash. Post 1.13, haven't seen a single person with them.

Well not that ofte actually. Sometimes with a sniper loadout I use the untraceable and sometimes paid bargain. But you are right they are ridiculously expensive.. Smiley Sad

I haven’t used a paid booster in months. Untraceable was always my favorite paid booster.
