FPS Freeks for Uncharted 3?

15 replies 458 views Edited Mar 11, 2013

so for those of you who own fps freeks, how do you find them on uncharted or 3rd person shooters in general?

i am struggling to make my mind up. whilst i think they do improve my aim when i am aiming down sights, they feel abit slow and sluggish when used for general movement (could be just me though).

so what do you guys think? do you use your fps freeks for this game, or not?

I don't think they're useful for UC3 because UC3's max sensitivity is really low. FPS Freeks are ment to be used with really high sensitivity. For example, they work fantastic with 14 sens in Black Ops 2 (14 is max) and UC3 max sens is like 8 in BO2 Smiley Tongue

The only beneficial thing they could do on this game is advanced comfort.for the user.

I use some L2 and R2 trigger add ons.. Because I don't like how flat the original ones are. It doesn't help me. It's just comfortable and not slippy.

^whats your opinion on the Xbox 360 controllers?

Some people like them but to me they feel unnatural and uncomfortable. Way to fat and the L2 and R2 ( or 'triggers') are in such a bad spot :'(

I never slip when pressing L2 and R2 on the PS3 controllers, idk I just really like the grip Smiley Happy

Me too. I like that I can quickly slip my finger on L2 R2. Quick reaction and everything. My hand is in a wierd position that gives me a great advantage.

I feel like Sony made a great call with the DS4. A little bit of both designs. The 360 controller was always uncomfortable for me; those triggers are crazy strange. Meanwhile, the DS3 could use a bit more grip. On the DS4, they kept the same DS feel, but it's more of a down-push, not inward.
