I'm not sure why ,but when a lot of my internet is taken up, I get the white plug and my guy freezes. My bullets don't curve and I can't kill through walls. However, I run into a person with thirdworld connection, he shoots a shotgun out of his gun and can lag strafe and shoot through walls. The laggy player never freezes. Why is this?
Probably has to do with the consistency in lag, it's most likely your ping.
The person with the 3rd world connection probably has a high consistant ping which makes the game playable for him. You on the other hand probably have a really unstable ping that jumps up to the max amount of ms you can have which forces your model to freeze.
UC4 will have no lag.
1. Lol unless they rewrite the netcode or code in ping restriction i seriously doubt that :U
U3 made laggers gods and ppl with great net pay for it :/
2. I prefer they restrict ppl with slow nets to only play with those near them. Not ppl in other countries, at least that way they could still play

2. That could work in the solo playlist, but it wouldn't necessarily work in the parties pool.
What about international parties? For example, the party leader could be American, but his friends could be from Japan...
