Re: Most absurd KDR?

Lol. I know the 1st acc of that guy with 4000+ kills and 1 death. He's an oldschool UC2 Vet. I've even talked to him, and asked him why he does it. He pretty much told me that he's trying to show ND how broken their game is, and how stats don't matter if he's able to do stuff like that.

@xxBLiTZKREIGxxa 3.0+ isn't that hard to maintain with all the noobs from F2P. My DeFy acc has roughly a 3.20 last time I had checked the leaderboards, and was going up every few matches which is funny because I don't even care about KDR. It's all about dem clips on that acc.

"Some people are just really natural with online shooters."

I totally agree with that. Roughly a year and a half ago, I was only averaging a 1.0 in all the games I played online. Now, it's a 2-3.5, but that's because something finally "clicked" for me when it came to online games.

As for the OPs question, I had some kid join my lobby randomly today, and he had like 22,000+ kills and 1,000 or so deaths. Not the highest I've seen, though.

I've only felt "something click" in one game: Crysis 3. I went from a .75 KDR to a 2.0 (roughly) in a short amount of time. I was averaging a 3 but my initial lopsided death count kept me from getting much higher than a 2. My alt has a 2.6, but now I never play that game. Bar lobbies at all times.

All other games I play seem to have a more gradual march. Start out in the .8 range, build to a 1.2-1.5 and plateau. But it's all good. I have fun with friends. We laugh a lot.

Crysis 3 was amazingly fun. It didn't last too long though, unfortunately. The player pool was incredibly low and the servers/host have always sucked.

In general, the good players kill more than deaths in matches
The more skilled playing, the more kills and less deaths
And boosters, kickbacks and playing w/ parties help much in that
Play your best every match and train well, learn for mistakes until you become a monster that wipe outs opponent team Alone!!
Your KD will be high without looking for it

I bet if we all had an individual statistic on how many living things we've killed so far (insects, animals, people ect.) people would try to boost that too..

What is KDR and how does one find it. New here and reading all the information trying to get help on game play. Been playing for a while but not sure why I am beaten so badly. Meaning my one shot for there 3 I die.

KDR means Kill/Death ratio. It's a popular thing to discuss aling with Win/Loss ratio (WLR) in REALLY competitive gaming.

Pretty generic. Measures your kills in relation to deaths. Specifically, how many kills per death. It helps figure out how much you die. A poor indicator of how well a person does in a non-kill-based game mode.

So my kills are 16 435 and deaths are 18 230, level25 on the gold emblems. That would tell you, according to the equation, I suck? Smiley Happy

That's what everyone would assume, yeah. Don't think too much about it though. It's unhealthy to do so.

I myself maintain a highly discouraging KDR.
