Why do you guys favorite the SP experience so much?
Of course, it's amazing to have one but i think the MP is the mode that ties you to a game for a long time.
As an example take a look at U3.
Most of us have played the campain three or four times, i guess.
(There is no ingame store to offer different experiences as well.)
But the MP is still well visited.
I prefer the MP much more to the campain (although i love it) and if there would be garanteed an improved MP experience i would buy the disc even without an SP.
Because that is what Naughty Dog is best at making SP games (uncharted, jax and daxter, crash bandicoot) .
Uncharted 3 MP is great don't get me wrong, but they focused more on the MP then the SP on this game and because of that the game felt rushed.
We want the MP to look more like Uncharted 2 where the MP was seen as just and experiment and then turns out to be awsome.
We also want a great SP experience too offcourse. Uncharted became big because of its SP not MP .
I can't believe people are still calling UC3 a trainwreck...
Trainwreck? No, still quality, still worth retail price (almost), but it was disappointing and imo inferior to UC2 (SP-wise)
Because ND screwed everyone out of a good game.
So nobody has any incentive to believe TLOU will be any different from the U3 train-wreck.
I don't think U3 MP is that bad.
Well, i'm playing coop and don't now much about CMP.
I trust in ND creating a cool MP for TLOU.
Maybe it will be completely different to Uncharted because there will be a low ammo intention behind the gameplay.
Give ND a chance and don't judge the game before it's released.
Nah. I'm not going to risk wasting 60 bucks on another generic zombie shooter that has a high-chance of going the same direction as U3's MP.
I've seen companies go the way of the Activision, in the past. Things never really get better. Besides, there are plenty of other games coming out that I know won't flop.
Uncharted 3 isn't bad. It used to be amazing. But right now, the MP is a complete joke.
