Yes, to a small nerf, no to a massive one. Even slowing players who are blindfiring down by 25% would do it imo.

Resistance 3 has the Atomizer that once you're within a specific range will autolock onto enemies but they have to at least be on your screen. So Uncharted isn't the only game to try auto locking, but every game I've seen has made it complete unbalanced BS when they impliment it. For competetive play, it just not going to be balanced unless theirs a bigger drawback for using it. Maybe if blindfire would make your gun randomly jam and force you to reload if you want to start shooting again, that would be able to balance it, but as it stands there is no such limiter.

 

By the way, I think U4 should totally use the idea I just suggested... if they unfortunately decide to leave in autolock.

Go ahead ND, play a public match and only go around blindfiring and punching people. If you don't think our own judgement is sufficient try it out for yourselves.

 

Oh and when you punch them, make sure to melee quick roll too, that way you get a more realistic U3 experience.

Nothing worse than trying to heal for two or three seconds after smoking three or four dudes in rapid succession (when you're one or two kills from a "rage" medal), only to be gunned down by a noob with a kal-7.  Why is every skill-requiring gun (such as my beloved g-mal, the fal, even blindfire on the m-9) nerfed, but the kamakaze kal-7 left untouched??? This is rediculous.  Please tone that embarrassment of a gun down, or better yet, get rid of it. make the kal-7 people their own lab, so they can all run around in circles together.
